We are the Chappell Family: Diana and Dean and our 3 beautiful children. We are truly a family run farm. Everyone chips in around the farm, as their ages and pint size permit, with feeding, spraying off the 'pacas in the heat, lead training, and the ever present poop patrol. The youngest even helps lead the alpacas to separate pastures. The kids love to take their friends into the pastures to show off "their" alpacas. Our away-from-home jobs are as firefighters and the schedule is great for spending time with our family on the farm. We love coming home to the farm and alpacas. We have found our alpaca farm to be the best family opportunity we could have created on our small acreage.

We became interested in alpacas by way of Diana reading articles and making visits to nearby farms. She finally convinced Dean to tag along on a visit and he conceded that they seemed much more intrigueing than "hayburners" (horses), and he liked the idea of making income from raising them. The kids were begging for alpacas as soon as they met the first one!

We are having a great time with our alpacas and alpaca people and have made many new friends across the country through our brokering program. We are available as your information source for any alpaca related questions. We certainly don't know it all, but surely will find the info you need.

Our young Stud, Bolivian Blizzard took the Blue Ribbon against a very tough class of 2 yr. old white males at the Heart of the Valley show. He is now taking dates for his breeding schedule.

We aim to provide services which will at once bring the prospective owner, and the already initiated alpaca folk great success in their alpaca adventure! Our barn is always open and we are looking forward to entertaining your needs for information, animals to purchase, breedings to your choice of our studs, brokering and boarding services. We will gladly put together packages to suit your needs. Some financing terms are also available.

Have you thought about next year's tax filing? Don't forget the great small business incentives allowed for your breeding stock purchases. Your CPA can tell you how much you can invest on alpacas and still take the full amount off against your current income.

Each year, we expect both spring and fall crias. It's always an exciting time around the farm, so call to schedule a visit to see the growing cria on our farm and also those nearby.

We have been having great success selling alpacas for other farms (brokering). We have a nice selection of alpacas from a select few farms available for purchase as well as available for stud service. We are also still accepting farms into our brokering program. We have room left to board a few more alpacas as well. Give us a call, drop us an email, or see us for a farm visit.
